Day 1 Guwahati
After arriving in Guwahati, the Guest will take breakfast and guests proceed to the Guwahati tour from the hotel. Guwahati “The light of the East” is the gateway to Assam and to the entire North East region. Straddling the banks of the Brahmaputra, this former capital of the Kamrupa kings. The most popular tourist destination of Guwahati : * Umanada Temple* Ugratar Temple*. After lunch, the guests will proceed to Balaji Temple. After visiting Balaji Temple the guests will return to the Guwahati hotel and night stay at Guwahati. One night Stay at Guwahati
Day 2 Maa Kamakhya Temple
Whole day excursion including Maa Kamakhya Temple. Overnight at Guwahati hotel.
Day 3 Guwahati to Shillong
The guests will proceed to Shillong. Shillong, Meghalaya’s capital, is set amidst smoky blue hills thick with pine and orchids, singing brooks, and crashing waterfalls….. For the English, this garrison town was home during the British Raj. Leisurely days can be spent boating at the serene Ward’s Lake and the landscaped Lady Hydari Park. Overnight halt at Shillong
Day 4 Shillong to Cherrapunjee
Sightseen in Shillong the guest will proceed to Cherrapunjee. World-renowned for being the wettest place on earth, Cherrapunjee is just 56km from Shillong. Cherrapunjee’s star attractions are – Nohsngithiang Falls, Thagkharang Park, Mawamai Cave, etc. Before sunset guests will return to Shillong. Night stay at Shillong.
Day 5 Shillong to Mawlynnong and Dawki
After breakfast, the guests will proceed to Mawlynnong 90km from Shillong. The picturesque village of Mawlynnong has earned the distinction of being “ one of the cleanest villages in India”. the pretty little village offers many interesting sights such as the living root bridge and another strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another rock etc. Dawki, about 6km from Mawlynnong. Dawki offers gorgeous views. Night stay in Shillong.
Day 6 Guwahati Airport/Railway
The guests will return to Guwahati and, proceed to Airport/Railway Station for onward destination.
